Sign In. Boys Over Flowers 2 Hide Spoilers. My favorite drama.. Hana Yori Dango is just such a bittersweet, heartwarming drama. It makes you smile, cry, and be angry all in a period of 40 min. Every preview makes you want to grab the computer, shake its screen, and scream until the next episode comes out. Possibly the storyline, I mean there ARE those typical scenes and plots but in general it holds something new each episode. Power, friends, family, money, love, heartbreak, hidden past, mysteries, dilemmas, worries are all bundled up into this second season. The love between Rui, Makino, and Tsukasa intensifies and grows and tugs at your hear-strings.

Everything is also very smart in the sense that its believable and the script is just perfect As you can see i can rant on and on. Thus in proportion, HYD definitely has more excitement.

Of course, HYD2 brings back the beloved characters of Makino Tsukushi, Tsukasa Domyouji, Hanazawa Rui, and the rest of the amazing cast- and even more lovable characters are added to the mix, noting the well-played Shigeru. Hana Yori Dango Returns begins with the yearlong separation of Domyouji and Makino, when Domyouji moves to New York to study business because he lost the bet with his mother at the end of Hana Yori Dango season 1. When Umi comes back, she privately speaks to Tsukushi and tells her to never come to the mansion again, saying that Tsukushi's presence upsets Tsukasa and that it would be harder for her to get him to remember his lost memory. It's awesome, but got me confused a little. HYD 2 picks up where the first season left off, and introduces a new issue in the love between Makino and Tsukasa. F3 then, making an attempt so that Tsukasa can remember Tsukushi, goes to a skiing resort inviting Tsukasa, Tsukushi and Yuki with them. Shigeru opens the door at that moment. Tsukushi Makino. While Hana Yori Dango Returns was better made and acted than the Korean version, the Korean version has intangibles which makes me prefer it. He then proposes to her after her prom, with their friends and the rest of the Eitoku students cheering them on.
