The problem with this meta is synergy creep. Every deck ends with either an otk, burn from hand, or an unanswerable board on turn 7. Mostly false. If you go back far enough, yes, Hearthstone was more popular shortly after launch. Over two years of growth, doubling from less than 2. In wild its druids, mages, and dk which are miserable to play against. You could also add in big priest and mine rogue to that list. In reply to the OP, The game is mostly based on what You draw and what You Play, and less based on what your opponent is doing or has done. Its pretty silly. Draws no minions or usable spells for the initial hand and mulligans into more expensive versions of the same unusable hand. Where is the interaction when you watch Warlock hoping he draws his combo and not giving a damn about what you do.
