Guests can choose from over designs in our catalog, and relax in our comfortable, safe building located in the heart of the ancient medina of Marrakech. We are located just a 3 minute walk from Djemaa el Fna, on the street that leads to all of the major attractions in the central and southern medina. We serve traditional Moroccan dishes as well as fusion, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian cuisine. We offer indoor dining as well as dining on two terraces, and we are proud to serve good food at honest prices. Our wifi is free, and we have many times been described as an oasis of calm in the middle of the chaos that is the medina! The walls of our cafe are chock full of original art, created right here on the premises. Our gift shop features small, easily transported art pieces as well.

On safety —Unlike many cafes in Morocco, our staff all understand what gluten free means, and they are trained in the seriousness of celiac disease. I had read about this cafe. One of only a small number in Marrakesh offering gluten free options as well as vegan and vegetarian. I had breakfast of lentil pancake with scrambled egg, cheese and Mediterranean salad. We serve gluten free lentil crepes in two different forms, and any of our menu items that contain products with gluten can be substituted with the lentil crepe. Awesome place with many gluten free options marked clearly on the menu including falafel and crepes and deserts!

Gordon and Moroccan Berber Rachid Karkouch. Not far from the bustling Djemaa El Fna square, the Henna Art Cafe provides a tranquil escape from the busy souk surrounding it. The menu is full of lovely salads and fresh meals perfect for lunch. The Henna Gallery hosts amazing local henna artists creating different tattoos. The studio is popular, so many people book in when they arrive, have lunch and then have the tattoo afterwards. Upstairs are two terraces overlooking the roofs of the Medina, this is where most people choose to eat. We sat on one of the terraces for lunch and had a selection of salads, with avocado and falafel, accompanied by Moroccan Tea and juices.
