It is my personal honor today to be writing about my favorite neighborhood in all of San Diego, Hillcrest. Hillcrest is rich with activity, small businesses, fun restaurants and bars and a whole lot of people who are exactly who they want to be. I adore hanging out here because it feels safe and comfortable, I am surrounded by my own community. Hillcrest San Diego is a safe space for the minorities who live and visit San Diego. It is NOT a destination for people to gawk at people or their ways of life. Hillcrest is a neighborhood filled with love, acceptance, and the inherent desire to be exactly who you are with no apologies. So respect pronouns, respect people.
