Hillsong Church is a Pentecostal megachurch, originally formed in Sydney but has since grown to form other churches globally, in cities such as New York, US and Stockholm, Sweden. The band started of as the house band for youth ministry "Powerhouse Youth," led by youth pastors Phil and Lucinda Dooley as a separate group affiliated with Hillsong. Playing a mixture of original and popular songs, they became a regular fixture, also performing at Youth Alive Australia and Hillsong Church.
