It is the perfect place to find Christmas gifts, while also supporting local businesses and organisations. The village will be reminded that the Christmas Market is about to open with a peel of bells from St Luke's Church at 2. Entertainment on the stage will start at 4pm with music from the Lions Youth Brass Band.

Hundreds of shoppers packed into village shops, pubs and eateries last year, as stalls lined the streets. More than 40 festive stalls, live entertainment and a visit by Santa promise to make it a memorable day. A festive fairground will be on the car park behind Tesco with a choice of games and thrill to keep children, teenagers and the young at heart entertained. The Square, will be closed to traffic from the roundabouts down to and including Parkway to accommodate more than 40 festive stalls. A further 10 stalls will be located inside the scout hall. Local vendors are returning alongside new faces and products.

Our Christmas Fairground will be operated by Joe White of Brereton and located on the Tesco car park which we have used for the market stalls in the past. We have booked several attractions for the fairground including the Sizzler twist ride, Miami freestyle ride, Mini Miami ride, Toy carousel ride, Mini planes ride, Hook a duck stall, and a Candy floss unit. Market stalls will be supplied and erected by ANSA. The stalls will be arranged in 3 islands of 8 stalls A - C , one island of 6 stalls D , with either three or four stalls side by side and back to back.
