Hello, I recently upgraded to bell fibre internet and received a Homehub from bell. Everything is going pretty good except for my kasa switches that lose connection all the time. I have the switches on the guest network and it looks like they use the same band as the main 2. I have tried disabling whole home internet and playing with the bands using a wifi scanner without success. Any issues? I tried to setup one of the kasa switch to the main network but had the same issue. My next step is to disable the guest network and see what happens. I'm trying to avoid having to reconfigure all my switches because its a pita to change dozens of them Seems others are having the same issue based on a thread I had started on redflagdeals forum. You could consider connect old router to the Home hub router and use it as an Access Point , and connect kasa devices to the old router AP and see if that helps. I aslo found this thread by someone else who seems to have issues.

My next step is to disable the guest network and see what happens. This method removes the HH from the network, homehub 4000. Any commercial products that are reasonable cost to provide backup power?

This is the successor to the Home Hub the two routers look identical , but the Giga Hub offers support for Wi-Fi 6E, which in theory should make it work better with multiple devices, as long as they also support the new Wi-fi standard. However, I recently tried replacing it with a top-of-the-line TP-Link E review coming soon , and the process has been a tech nightmare. A speed test on the Giga Hub lets you measure speeds coming in from the wall. Mine was bundled into my plan for free as long as I return it when I cancel my service. After signing up, a technician showed up at my house the next week, installed a fibre line, and I was off to the races. After he left, I downloaded the Bell Wi-Fi app and set my password and network name with ease.

One of the things that came with my recent Bell Install is was the Home Hub AKA: HH hardware , which I have effectively bypassed by using first this method and then this method to do it. But since Bell has been rolling out a new piece of hardware as they roll out 8Gbps service in an attempt to make their chief rival Rogers as extinct as a T-Rex. That piece of hardware is called the Gigahub.

What features does your own router provide that is missing in the Home Hub ? His Wi-Fi speeds still seemed to be around Mbps. But that was 2 years ago and I am certain that the issues that this client had were in relation to the install. I have the hh DHCP do assign a dynamic I just can not make it static. New message. I have issues with the reach of the WiFi and have queried Bell on whether the pods offered on monthly lease could be purchased and how these pods may expand Wifi to the furthest reaches of your basement apartment….
