The award-winning drama from the writer of Translations, Brian Friel. During the Festival of Lughnasa, Pagan and Christian meet and collide. The sisters fight each other, love each other, dance, yearn and survive. Through career and personal life, she has performed in film, television, commercials and theatre, in the regions of Halifax, Toronto and Montreal, she was finally led to settle in Hudson, where she is appreciative of every day in her ultra creative and talented environs. Looking forward to sharing this gift of a beautiful story with you, she is wishing you an enjoyable couple of hours and beyond, as you contemplate and perhaps reflect on what went before in the past as well as the recent history of preparing, to bring you this story. The Hudson Players Club is a community theatre company presenting work in the beautiful town of Hudson, Quebec. Our mandate is simple: foster an appreciation of theatre in our community, and develop the capacity to engage fully in the theatre experience. Our work is important to the people of Hudson and the surrounding area, and we look forward to the benefits and growth this new initiative will offer. Our audience comes from all across the Montreal and West Island area of Quebec and as far away as Ottawa and eastern Ontario.
