Elderly people's opinions about care are often ignored and their participation is ignored. Families or social workers make some decisions on behalf of the elderly. The elderly face obstacles such as access to information and access to care support. These barriers constitute important obstacles for the empowerment of the elderly. It is seen that the elderly try to choose from a limited choice of issues related to themselves.
