Jagex Accounts are the future of account security, and if you missed it, it went into Open Beta back in April! This means that everyone can now upgrade to a shiny new Jagex Account! Now it's been in Open Beta for a few months we wanted to share an update on how the beta is progressing. So settle down and take a read! Remember, Jagex Accounts are only available via the Jagex Launcher. This nifty tool remembers your account and works with both the official client and RuneLite. Now that we're a few months into the Beta, let's take a quick look at just how many of you have heeded our call to upgrade. As of the end of June, we're pleased to announce that there have been more than , Jagex Accounts created! With more than , RuneScape and Old School characters linked. That's phenomenal, and we'd like to thank you for trusting the new system.

Our Beta period has involved a large volume of participants over an extensive period of time, enabling us to fully test our systems with real accounts and ensure everything is operating as expected. Based on the success of the Beta, we're now confident we can exit our Beta period and take our next steps on the Jagex Account journey. The benefits of Jagex accounts are inherently linked with the Jagex Launcher - both are interconnected projects in our mission to improve security and the player experience for our games. As part of our continued rollout of these new systems, from November 7th , players will require a Jagex Account to access the Jagex Launcher.
