Please see my disclosure for more details! If you have followed me for a while you will know how obsessed I am with hot chocolates. They are cosy, and heavenly, and because its the winter festive season I thought they were the perfect cupcake to celebrate with. Please see my disclosure for more details! I still remember being at a party for the new year, even though I was only 7 at the time, and how on earth has it been twenty entire years since then?! I decided the perfect way to celebrate the new decade was with a recipe that everyone has been requesting for a very long time — prosecco cupcakes! It seems the ideal time to post it and it is delicious too. I thought cupcakes would be cute — and I just love how they turned out! Honestly, I overbought, and had some left as expected… but wow. You can swap it to a rose prosecco for example, but again, the flavour might not be so prominent to be able to tell which one it is. Also, you can easily swap for Champagne or any sparkling wine! The buttercream will be slightly slacker than usual, as you have put in liquid. Not any spread, of any kind. If you use a spread, or a dairy-free spread and so on… it might well be a sloppy mess. Please see my disclosure for more details! This is the best chocolate cupcake recipe you will ever find. Even if I do say so myself! Fluffy sponge, light buttercream and a delicious chocolate drizzle — what more could you want?! Okay so maybe that is a slight reach, everyone has their own favourite recipes but honestly, this is my go-to chocolate cupcake recipe that I use when baking for absolutely any occasion, or just for a family gathering, or just myself — honestly they are utterly delicious. The cupcakes are insanely light and fluffy, whilst also being moist.
Please see my disclosure for more details! Yes, that is right, I thought I would start off with an absolute bang and do something that I get requests for over and over all of the time… this beauty of a recipe. I have many gingerbread recipes on my blog such as my gingerbread loaf cake , my gingerbread millionaires shortbread , and my gingerbread trifle just to name a few… but cupcakes? Cupcakes are where it is at as they are easy, simple and delicious. A gingerbread cake is meant to be denser, fudgier in a way and just absolutely perfect for the colder weather… and these gingerbread cupcakes emulate that exactly.
