The Javlok is a Grineer speargun that fires superheated projectiles dealing Heat damage. Its Alternate Fire allows the weapon itself to be thrown at enemies, dealing an area-of-effect damage which is boosted by the remaining ammunition in the magazine. This weapon deals primarily Heat damage. The Javlok Capacitor is a special resource that is used exclusively for crafting the Javlok. Hotfix

When duviri became a reality this weapon began to appear even more frequently than weapons that I already had shapes and potatoes. I decided to give this weapon a chance and added 5 forms. The weapon is unfortunately one of the weakest I've ever played. Her passive is very weak! I would really like DE to make some augmentation available for javlok. The weapon is one of the worst in the game! It has a very inviting visual design but in terms of firepower it is completely useless. As it is an old weapon, I think it deserved an augmentation or even a kuva variant.

So, not that I've looked everywhere for some news on this subject, but I haven't heard anything about any new Kuva or Tenet weapon variants coming out for a long time. And as we all know, there are many weapons that either were once greats and got left behind by power-creep, or are fun fan-favorites with a lot of potential that never had a chance to shine at all in late- or even mid-game content due to weak stats with little room for improvement via mods. As of now, there are just 19 Kuva weapons and 14 Tenet weapons. And I think we were all hoping the Infested would also get the Nemesis system treatment at some point. I heard this was coming but it looks like it'll be a long way off. I think most of us would agree that we could use some more high-level-viable weaponry. This game has over total weapons now, and sadly, the overwhelming majority of them are classed as "mastery fodder" for anyone who doesn't know by now, this means that the weapon is useful only for the single purpose of gaining Mastery Rank Affinity points. Tenet Staticor: The Staticor is an awesome concept and a beloved weapon, but unfortunately its performance leaves much to be desired. There is no way to build it to keep up with higher level content.
