The film has constant strong bloody violence with over-the-top beating, shooting, stabbing, executions, people exploding, bursting on fire and blood splattering and caking the walls left and right. Hoards of men are killed in exceedingly brutal manners of shooting, stabbing and viscous beating. There are prolonged sequences lasting sometimes upwards of 20 minutes at a time of men being killed.

Going longer, the movie apparently also goes for broke with its non-stop action, and reportedly, none of it disappoints. John Wick: Chapter 4 outdoes its formidable predecessors in nearly every respect. John Wick: Chapter 4 once again exceeds expectations. It is the most John Wick movie. And it is the best John Wick movie. John Wick: Chapter 4 takes cinema to the next level once again. In this gradual development and expansion of the Wickaverse, the filmmakers seem to have lost the thread of what makes the first and, at times, second film in the series work so well. John Wick: Chapter 4 is one of the best modern American action films this side of a Mission: Impossible.

The original John Wick was stripped to the bone, clean and classic at just minutes, but by the time John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum came along, the franchise had become flabby -- and exhausting. A particularly graphic and disturbing scenes shows a man having his hand stabbed and impaled with a knife. When people are beaten there is unrelenting, vicious punches to the face and body.
