Exceptional restaurant at the Alila Jabal Akhdar. Breakfast was impeccable. Dinner was delightful. Amazing view if sitting outside. Chef came around and personally spoke with each table, nice touch. Deserves a Michelin star. Nestled amidst the majestic Al Hajar Mountains, Juniper Restaurant is a culinary gem that beautifully complements the resort's charm. From the moment I stepped into Juniper, I was enveloped in an ambiance of sophistication and warmth. The menu at Juniper is a testament to the chef's creativity and dedication to showcasing the finest local and seasonal ingredients. Every dish was a masterpiece, expertly crafted to tantalize the taste buds and elevate the senses. The culinary creations seamlessly blended traditional Omani flavors with innovative techniques, resulting in a symphony of tastes and textures on my plate. The knowledgeable and attentive staff further enhanced my dining experience. Their passion for the cuisine was evident as they described each dish, offering insights into the rich culinary heritage of Oman.

The whole briny-tasting dish was amazing and generously portioned. Truly delicious. A long bar covers one side of the restaurant, along with a bookshelf crammed with cookbooks.

We recently tried out Juniper , the Wellesley Square restaurant that has opened in the former Milestone location, to see what the newest eatery in town had to offer. We figured an early evening Friday dinner in August would allow us to avoid the hassle of a typical weekend crowd and the possible wait time that might bring. We showed up at pm and just squeaked in ahead of the rush, with diner wannabes who came in after us facing long wait times. We had a good view of the action from our 2-person table just inside the restaurant behind a curtain and window. For starters we tried out the eggplant baba ghanoush served with pita bread.

You will not be disappointed: few favs The service is great, and it's much different than anything else you can eat in the entire CSRA. The night we ate there, over half the menu items had come from within thirty miles of the restauraunt. They're a great addition to this beautiful little southern town, and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a great meal and unique dining experience.
