Princess Kakyuu proves to be an exception to the rule since, not only is she a completely different character, she's not someone the viewers had met before she makes an appearance. That said, she isn't completely unconnected to the established characters, as Chibi-Chibi was helping her hide. As another princess in the series, Princess Kakyuu serves as a counterpart to Princess Serenity. Like Sailor Moon, she is a leader of a group of Sailor Senshi.

Many times, her mystical scent of pure goodness and light was detected by the Three Lights whenever Chibi Chibi who was in possession of her holy incense burner was near them.
