Kangaxx

The door is kangaxx locked, and nobody has ever seen anyone go in or out.

Kangaxx is impossible and I refuse to move on without destroying him. I can lick him ok while he's a lich. When he turns to demilich, forget about it. Has anyone beaten him? Can Power Word Kill work on him since he's undead? Please advise on strategies, techniques, and other relevant information.

This time around I temporarily recruited keldorn, inquisitor dispel plus carosmyr and two improve hasted fighters took him down before he got a spell off. Well this guy is mean. That's just plain rude. I have found some advice on how to go about killing this 'demilich' but I need someone to clarify certain spells and strategies my level 11 party can take. First, where is this sling of eversed people keep talking about? What is this guy even vulnerable to? I'm starting to think he is immune to the majority of types of attacks. Second, I assume that the spell 'protection from the undead' is a cleric spell, but it must be a level 6 or 7 spell because I don't see it or maybe it just comes in scrolls? Third, when a person is 'imprisoned', how many turns is this for? Surely it's not permanent. I could summon more creatures if it was permanent but I guess it could just be a bug. My dwarf defender hasn't recovered yet from this battle and is forever stuck in oblivion by kangaxx.

Spike Traps are just so I mean I can handle me a whiff of fermented dairy every now and then but this is like a munster and a casu marzu had an osmidrotic baby. In vanilla, if I'm so inclined, I can clear every lich out of the city first thing after emerging from Chateau Irenicus with a pair of PFU scrolls, just make sure to get the City Gates lich first so you have a weapon to kill Kangaxx with. That does seem like the first sort of thing SCS would nerf. On the other hand, so does Spike Trap Sunray is awesome.
