In Mission 75kh xion, Roxas is sent to Twilight Town. Xion has left the Organization and is mistaken for the Organization impostor, Riku. Roxas has to track kh xion down and "eliminate" her. Roxas attacks the impostor, but is stunned to realize he is fighting Xion.

Xion is an imperfect replica , whose identity as a black-haired Kairi was eventually modeled from Sora's memories of Kairi. The organization created her to absorb Sora and Roxas' power as a keyblade wielder through Sora's memories. She was meant to be a controllable fail-safe in the event that Sora and Roxas both prove to be of no use to the Organization. However, as she finds out who she really is, while spending time with Roxas and Axel, and deepening their friendship, she later chooses to disrupt the organization's plans and return the memories she absorbed to Sora in order to help him and Roxas at the cost of her body, heart, and existence in everyone's memories. She appears in cameos and is mentioned in later games but is eventually revived in a newly improved replica body, in KHIII, with none of the drawbacks that she had before and everyone remembers her. She is currently in Twilight Town with the others searching for Sora via her memories. When going on a mission with Roxas, Xion begins to open up to him and later Axel.

She attacks Roxas in Mission 92 , which takes place throughout various locations in worlds visited during the events of the game. Using the Organization XIII Devices , Xion is able to absorb Sora 's memories from each world in order to replicate his abilities, and to some extent other elements of those worlds. Interestingly, the first three areas that Xion warps Roxas to are the locations of that worlds' respective Keyholes. During Roxas's battle with Xion, she dons armor which changes a number of times throughout the fight. Her basic form is a bizarrely-shaped, predominantly silver and black suit, with dull red armor near her waist, gold on her boots, and orange armored gloves. Xion's helmet sports two black spikes that jut out horizontally on either side, and a large, red Nobody symbol on the faceplate, part of which forms something of a horn on the top of the helmet.
