We had me, my husband, our dog, and a new baby.

And, well, we still have it! If our couch only lasts another year, I would be okay with it because it was so affordable. I love to plop on them, wiggle around on them, eat, sleep, and couch on them. So does my husband, and so does my dog. My sixty-some pound greyhound-beagle mix is allowed on our furniture, and her favorite place to chill is the KIVIK.

The Kivik was easy to put together. The slipcover that we chose was Hillared beige. I really thought I wanted the light grey Orrsta. Unfortunately, after seeing it on a sofa in the showroom, I was disappointed.

So I acknowledge that the color could have a lot to do with why I gave it 10 points. However the back cushions are just not tall enough for me anymore.

It is a central hub for our family, where we watch tv, movies, play video games, play board games, etc. I realize they have to fit snug to look smooth on the sofa, but it was really a struggle! Then, once every couple of months I pull the cushions covers off and toss them in the washer! Because of how we slunk into the couch, the back pillows kind of end up looking slouchy with the seams sinking in towards the couch rather than being at the top of the pillow.
