The wrapper is light brown and has quite a bit of toothiness to it and the foot is covered with folded over wrapper leaf. There are a few slightly raised veins present while the seams are easily visible due to the texture of the wrapper. The head is covered with a single cap that is finished with a tightly wound pigtail. The band is the traditional design for the company in black and gold with a red shield. The aroma from the wrapper and covered foot is a distinct hay along with a mild white pepper. The pre-light draw brings a bit of a black tea note along with some wood and a mild spiciness to my lips. The cigar begins with some aged wood and a medium level baking spice. At a quarter inch in, a mild cream joins the profile which smooths the baking spice out a bit. At an inch in, a toasted bread note joins the wood and slight cream as the baking spice is now very faint. The retrohale still has a big dose of the baking spice to go along with some toasted bread and wood. At an inch and a half, the cream increases which pairs well with the toasted bread and wood.

Burn The burn was a bit wavy at times but never needed any attention, kral torro. At an inch and a quarter, the char reduces again and lets the wood shine a bit more.

If you have seen this Macedonian giant of man on social media you get it. Smoking mainly Cuban cigars, I wanted to create a profile which maintained Cuban standards, while adding an interesting yet elegant twist. Jas Sum Kral recently sent me some samples to review of their Red Knight cigar, and after letting them rest awhile, it was time to break them out and see what all the social media fuss was about. Well done Riste! Regal in design and fitting for such an eye catching cigar it deserved some words itself. The first observation of the band is the golden Jas Sum Kral logo centered in a blood-red shield. Golden lions protect that shield on both sides and a golden crown adorns it. The remainder of the band is black with golden scrolls and ornaments along with some white and red placement.

Kittyporn

The Toro smokes as well as the other sizes in the line and I would have no problem going back to this cigar on a semi regular basis. Expect a smooth body with thin, but voluminous smoke production, an uplifting-then-calming effect, and a palate with notes of flora, wood, and tons of vanilla-y, caramel-y, toffee-y goodness. Catch the virus! Every once in a while among-st an ocean of fishermen competing for the same fish, something spectacular comes from the depths. Once opened up a bit from the initial pinch, the draw was very smooth with an impressively clean finish. If you only ever got to smoke this brand, you would want for little to nothing else. A touch of spice joins the profile just before the band. Below the shield is a gold ribbon with a maroon colored strip on it.

This was a draw that was not too tight nor too loose. The wrapper is light brown and has quite a bit of toothiness to it and the foot is covered with folded over wrapper leaf. The burn was a bit wavy at times but never needed any attention. Great review. The cap has a spiral pig-tail affixed to it while the footer of the cigar is covered. My favorite Maduro anywhere, keep up the great work! The first two thirds are where this vitola shines as the final third runs out of a bit of steam. I found there was still enough sweetness from the fruit notes in the background to balance the spice notes nicely. Coffee and vanilla notes develop. Available in: 5x5 Robusto. The intensity continued to build up in the second half, but the cigar remained in the medium to full range.
