I am writing this post partially to vent my frustration of the fact that I think there is insufficient of Kunikida discussion among the fandom, and that he is one of the most misunderstood and underappreciated characters in the series. For any unlikely reader who is not familiar with the series I do not know how you would end up here in the first place though Kunikida Doppo is a 22 year old Detective who is well educated in Mathematics and Sciences, and who self identifies as an idealist.
