Kynesgrove

Kynesgrove is a small mining settlement located in Eastmarch, kynesgrove. It is located directly south of Windhelmkynesgrove, half-way on the road between the Windhelm Stables and Witchmist Groveand one-third of the distance to the Atronach Stone. The settlement consists of an inn, a malachite mine and several fields. The farm is owned by Ganna and Gemma Urielkynesgrove failed to realize that only a small part of the land would be available for harvesting lumber because the nearby grove kynesgrove sacred kynesgrove Kyne.

In the Fourth Era , Ganna and Gemma Uriel came to Kynesgrove to start the Frostbark lumber mill without realizing the nearby grove's trees were sacred to Kyne, [3] with the village containing remnants of the grove they initially cut. During the Stormcloak Rebellion , the Last Dragonborn came to Kynesgrove with Delphine after she tracked down Alduin 's next foray, and they slew Sahloknir within moments of the wyrm's resurrection by Alduin. It has always bothered me to some extent that Kynesgrove gets major attention during the main quest, even with its own guard contingent, yet is nothing more than one inn and a few people in a small camp. Given that it's supposed to be an actual village, it felt like these people needed to at least have proper homes even if they are poor. Now, even though they all still work the mines, they have homes to return to at night. Kynesgrove is a sacred forest in eastern Eastmarch , south of Windhelm. The Keepers of the Grove live here and serve as priests of Kyne. Before going out in war, the local Nords used to go to Kynesgrove and pray to Kyne for good fortune. Unfortunately, the grove has recently become inhospitable, occupied with hostile mages and enthralled soldiers. Kynesgrove Wayshrine is located northwest of the woods. The horse Peri will appear here during The Dragonguard's Legacy , offering permanent one-way transport to the Valley of Blades.
