La Maison du Steak is a French restaurant near Cambridge station. The food was very good, if maybe a little expensive, la maison du steak reviews, and it had good wine. Staff are efficient, rather than friendly, which probably represents the old France quite well! I have tried to go back twice, but it has been too full.

It has been on my list for years but for one reason or another it has always managed to escape me. La Maison Du Steak is a family run restaurant. You may remember their popular French cafe that unfortunately closed back in , Le Gros Frank. The restaurant is cosy and intimate with a stylish yet traditional interior. The menu is divided up into all the different selections of meat on offer, from fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. It has taken me a long time to get here, I had heard a lot about their tomahawk steaks and I had quite an appetite on me, so I decided to go for it! I think this is good value for a tomahawk steak considering the prices of similar ones in the city.
