Although it may not look like it, this stitch is actually quite easy, as it uses basic stitches. The only trick here is working one of the double crochet stitches much lower than the other. I have been wanting to design a square to rectangle blanket like this for a while now. The square is lengthened on 2 ends working in rows after the square is completed. But if you enjoy the square, in the case of a bed topper blanket, just keep going until you reach your desired size. I want to add a disclaimer to this blog. I am just an amateur when it comes to photography. I use the natural light that comes in thru my window. When I zoom in, the colors change from when I pull back. All of the photos you see here are the same blanket. The last 2 photos at the bottom of this post are the closest to the true colors. But don't focus on my colors! Use your imagination to create your own color story.

Measuring x 95cm Row 1 RS Ch3 counts as st here and throughout pattern , 1dc in fifth ch from hook, 2dc, ch1, skip 1 st, 3dc, ch1, skip 1 st 32 times, 4dc, turn. I see that someone else had shared her pictures of her finished piece! It looks amazing in the black, white, and gray! If I want to make this wider, do I add on in groups of 3 or doesn't it matter?
