We've been working on some 3D files for community release. You're free to tinker with and use this however you want. This at least gives you the rail designs to work with for other projects you may want to pursue as well. We will at some point have an official controller connecter available for the Legion Go that is not based on this design. If you have any feedback feel free to leave it here and I can pass along to the mechanical engineering teams. While I will continue to look for opportunities to release additional 3D files this may be all we get for a while.

Has anyone installed these? A couple weeks ago I downloaded Chiaki for remote play for ps5 remote play on legion go then they released an update and it stopped.

While the built-in and detachable controller works well in most cases, you can also connect an external gamepad. Lenovo Legion Go runs on Windows 11 and supports Bluetooth, so you can use it with just about every controller released over the last decade. The choice of the controller depends on your preference and which form factor feels the best for you. However, we recommend one with an Xbox-style layout since it's the one a lot of PC games default to, and you don't want the different configurations on other controllers to affect your gaming sessions.

Is it my understanding that this is something like what the switch has to where both the right and left legion controller snap in to one piece making a regular full sized controller? I'm a bit out of the loop on Legion Go updates. One of the main driver of us buying Legion Go with larger screen resolution and higher refresh rate is the promising future of upscaling and frame generation technology…. Legion Go Members. Exactly that's it, just being thinner and allowing you to set up the angle you want to hold your controllers with, as I understand it out of the picture, otherwise the small round wheel on top wouldn't make sense. If you turn it into a kind of a triangle opening it up, it might feel more natural, as your arms are usually holding a controller also having a certain angle if you look at it.
