Leyndell sewers

A sprawling capital city that houses various strong enemies, as well as champions that leyndell sewers previously encountered. The Royal Capital of Leyndell functions as the seat of government and administrative center of Altus Plateau.

Leyndell, Royal Capital is one of the largest legacy dungeons in Elden Ring. What some players may not realize is that there's an entire underground section of the city that's worth exploring. The underground portion, better known as the Subterranean-Shunning Grounds , is just as expansive. This is why it deserves its own guide. It's difficult to traverse because each area of the sewers is a maze or purposefully meant to be confusing. That's why we've made a guide to go through how to complete each area in the Leyndell sewers and reach the end. From the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace , you want to head down the stairs to where the knight is with the lightning bow.

While its structure behave similarly to the Legacy Dungeon above, it is not required to proceed through the royal capital, and houses key characters and events necessary to obtain certain Endings. This page contains information on the location, walkthrough , and guide to traverse this area, locate all of its treasure, and tips to defeat the enemies within. Though you can access it at any time when exploring the capital, you may find the enemies within much tougher than those above ground, so for this reason we recommend that you hold off on exploring it until you have completed the Royal Capital, and possibly even completed the Giant's Forge if you are still having trouble with the enemies in these sewers. To reach the sewers beneath Leyndell earlier, head to the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace in the middle of the capital just off the main road that runs through it. Go down the stairs to the lower northern ruined part of the city and stick to the left side as you advance to take out the three Leyndell Knights. Once they've been dealt with, look over the balcony to the left off in the northwest side of the ruined city streets. Among the rubble you should be able to spot a lone well in the shadow of the large dragon wing, guarded by the fast-crawling enemies seen in the Volcano Manor. Head down into the well using the ladder. Once down in the well, you may want to activate a Lantern if you have one to help with visibility. Loot the body holding a Rune Arc and open the gate to the left. Keep heading down the corridors and down the ladders and stairs until you reach a long tunnel full of Giant Rats, and be ready to block or dodge their lunging attacks, though most won't attack too quickly. The path under the stairs leads to bars you can't get through, so move forward to find 6 Poisonbone Dart on a body surrounded by rats, then open the far door to reach this new area.

And a few road signs in the pipes wouldn't hurt.

Elden Ring is a game filled with dozens of alternate paths and routes, and those routes are even harder than ever to discern thanks to the jump mechanic. You can get into Leyndell with our guide , but this legacy dungeon is complex and sprawling — not simple to navigate by any means. The Dung Eater is a filthy corrupting character that will appear in one of the rear rooms of Roundtable Hold. Luckily the Roundtable Hold prevents violence, and as a Tarnished you will keep coming back time and time again. The Dung Eater resembles a heavily corrupted Solaire from the original Dark Souls and could stand as a reference to the corruption Solaire suffered over the course of that game as he turned hollow. Exiting the Lower Capital Church, run to the right and jump over the balcony down into the sewer below. Run straight to the right and to the end of the tunnel, and then destroy the strong enemy that throws projectiles at the end of the tunnel.

This underground area can be a bit tricky to navigate, and indeed fans may find themselves lost at several points. Assisting those players is the precise purpose of this guide, which will detail how to quickly reach the boss at the end of Elden Ring 's Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. To note, this walkthrough will only cover the fastest route to the end of the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. As such, players may want to explore parts of this area beyond what is outlined below, as indeed there is more to see underneath Leyndell. In fact, the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds play a big role in Millicent's questline in Elden Ring , and fans that want to see that story to its conclusion will need to do some very thorough searching. Major Story Bosses And Shardbearers.

Subterranean Shunning-Grounds is a dungeon in Elden Ring. An intricate system of sewers and dungeons that spreads out below Leyndell, Royal Capital. It is crawling with all kinds of shunned creatures, most notably the Omen , who are imprisoned there unbeknownst to anyone. Deep within the dungeon is a cathedral, where an encounter with Mohg, the Omen occurs.

Grab the Smithing Stone 7 to the right of the doorway before heading up through the tunnel. Pick up the Fingerprint Stone Shield at the end of the corridor. Lots of wasted time moving back and forth between sites of grace or other areas. Note that you must have the Sewer-Gaol Key to open this door. At the T-junction, turn left then right in quick succession, then follow the path to a Smithing Stone 8. First walk to the railing, and then move northwest until the rooftops are directly to your left. Spontaneous irrelevent thought - why not separate sprint and roll, instead implementing quickstep as a tap input and a roll as a hold. If you can dash past or defeat this Omen, the corpse it's looking over has the Bloodsoaked Mask and Bloodsoaked Manchettes. Travel through it, taking out a couple of Basilisks and a Commoner on the way. Loot the body to obtain a Seedbed Curse. Go up the stairs, exit to the balcony, and enter the doorway on the right side of the balcony.

Located in Altus Plateau, Leyndell is full of new enemies and plenty of upgrade materials. Getting inside the capital is one thing, but traversing through it is another. It's a complicated maze because what looks like main streets and pathways actually lead to nothing.

Jump onto its wing and climb it. If you haven't already looted it, the Blessed Dew Talisman can be found from a chest in here, and on the opposite end is a sending gate that leads to the Isolated Divine Tower , but we won't be going there now. Now retrace your steps and enter the main hall. From the Underground Roadside Grace, head out the room and turn left. Go back, check the east side where you'll bump into two more Leyndell Foot Soldiers guarding by the short steps, along with another Leyndell Soldier. It helped me with finding my way through, it was quite a nice change of pace over just running through the overworld. I just want a list, I don't want to watch a 20 minute video. From the site, head outside the balcony, and proceed northeast. Two more Omen can be spotted at the far side - one of them will patrol from side to side near a Golden Rune 11 and a body holding Bloodsoaked Manchettes and Bloodsoaked Mask - while the other patrols the length of the hall slowly, giving you time to take them on separately and hopefully get off backstabs to start the fight. Protip: omens are easily stunlocked with jump attacks. You can pillage the body to acquire a Gravel Stone. In the same room, check the statue beside the doorway on the left to find another corpse holding a Golden Rune [9].
