The Basin is obtained upon the death of Emma, either after the defeat of the first three Lords of Cinder or by the player's hand at any point. The first part of Lothric Castle consists of the fortifications and chambers leading up to the Grand Archives. Lothric Castle is a Location in Dark Souls 3. Once the Ashen One has obtained the sacrificial vessel, the Castle may be entered. After defeating Dancer of the Boreal Valley , ascend the ladder and proceed forward into the castle. In the first room will be a red eyed knight and a black clothed figure.
