Joined: Dec 12, I've got a stock k LQ4 that I want to do a lowish budget turbo setup, ideally blow-thru, ideally running the 25cm T6 HX55 Seems to have 65mm inducer mm exducer I have here, but a few questions I've been 'told' its working, but is it worth tearing down to check bearings and rings, or replace bearings and rings regardless? Worth changing the cam? Turbos dont need cams, but they are mild as hell.

My goal is to build a turbo setup with a mostly stock motor, while building "big" for when I build a ci forged shortblock motor heads, cam, intake, etc. Looking to run anywhere in the 9's with the stock motor while trying to buy most parts ONCE for when my goal turns into mid 8's with the built motor. I wouldn't call this a budget build staying away from the really cheap sketchy stuff Parts I have already bought: Still waiting on exact prices for most items as I ordered through a friend. Will post info when I have it:yes: I also called Forced Inductions in Alabama about a single turbo that will work OK with the stock motor, but will also get me into the 8's with the built motor. They suggested the Ssx with a T6 housing, and also gave me a price for a wastegate and bov. I will be updating the thread as often as I can probably daily as far as answering any questions.
