However, unlike that game, which simply imported the gameplay of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 with minor adjustments, LAiX2 radically overhauls and changes Copen's gameplay system. Copen's armor has changed to automatically switch between two aesthetic "modes" depending on whether he is grounded or performing a bullit dash: the power focused Break-Shift and speed focused Bullit-Shift.
