Pet the squishy little guy, he does his flip and then you will notice all the tames close to him the range of his buff is small will have a yellow Lvl up arrow marker just above where all the boost are placed. It looks like a Lvl up marker but solid yellow not green. Does it affect riders that are on the tames? I ran a simple experiment where I spawned in a level phiomia and killed it with my Terror Bird. I then activated a Lystro, spawned in another level phiomia right next to it, and killed it with the same terror bird. The terror bird got an XP boost when comparing the XP changes between the two kills. My character got the same XP both time. Anyone explain to me how the Lystrosaurus works? Recommended Posts. It recovers its torpor and health much faster than most creatures, which makes rendering a Lystrosaurus a rather difficult affair. Not surprisingly, Lystrosaurus is an extremely loyal pet once tamed. It's a very fast learner, so it gains experience much faster than most other creatures. Additionally, its presence nearby appears to inspire allies, making them learn and gain experience more rapidly as well.
