One of the best ways to manage this is to do half-pad practices instead of full-pad practices for a week. This will keep players in good shape but will lower their fatigue used significantly. Full pads weigh heavily on the players and running several practices in a week with them will tire them out quickly.

OK, I've tried so hard not to waste my time complaining on a madden forum about a video game, but this is crazy, so here goes:. This fatigue issue is so much bigger than just a simple glitch in a video game. This, to me, is intentional gameplay and market manipulation to push a cash grab by EA. First, who asked for this? Sorry, but if you want to run spinner and DB fire all day, be my guest. I'm cool with it. I've used all the blitzes you see in madden and I've been able to counteract all the blitzes you see in madden. It's gameplay, like chess, read and react, that's what makes the game fun. You gotta work to get people out of their base sets. I have no interest in playing a game where everyone is forced to run the same defense. However, now, in the middle of the Madden season, they decide, you know what? Let's not only completely change the ability of DB's to have any affect in the game, let's also implement this completely incorrectly, so players will have to now adjust their entire defensive lineup. Let's have everyone scramble mid season to make sure they have DE's big enough 90lb buffer for LT's and RT's to not get fatigued because EA messed up the pwr and fnm threshold , no need to have TJ Watt or Will Anderson, two prolific players, be relevant in the game. Then, we get to find backup LB's and DB's at each position that are actually playable because if my starters are touched by a lineman in the run game even if they're not blitzing they're going yellow to red.

Madden 23 's Franchise mode is, for many players, the marquee mode to play every single year, and a Connected Franchise CFM can be even more exciting, letting you join a league with up to 31 other players and create your own NFL universe of star rookies, burgeoning dynasties, and heated rivalries. But a particularly annoying and sadly widespread bug is causing issues for Connected Franchise players right now. We've reached out to EA for comment--and hopefully guidance--on how to navigate this issue until a patch resolves it, but in the meantime, one prominent CFM league believes it may have found a temporary solution to the game's Franchise glitch, at least in cases when a game's final score and stats don't seem to have been saved. To be fair to the developers of Madden NFL 23 , this game has actually addressed many of the fan complaints that have gone on for a decade or more. They needed to simplify and tighten some things up and, after many years of reproducing the same game with a fresh coat of paint, there is some actual work done this year. However, many of the old problems that would take effort to fix are still around and not all of these fixes have been as positively received as EA would have hoped. They deserve credit for what went right in Madden NFL 23 , but there is still a list of things that need attention for future installments. It must be said that Charles Davis and Brandon Gaudin are fine. They should not be blamed for a lack of variety in the commentary. But it must be pointed out that after one sixty-minute game of football, players have essentially heard everything the two can say.
