The Jetty Park break is a gently sloping sand bar which is fed by the wide beach that is created by the Jetty blocking the northerly flow of sand. This makes the beach ideal for beginners as well as body boarders looking to hone their skills. The water is also shallower than other locations down the Space Coast due to the extra sand and gentle slope to the beach. It is a little bit reminiscent of Gulf Coast beaches like Siesta Key.
