A Championship. The Langley Thunder, Nanaimo Timbermen, New Westminster Salmonbellies, and Victoria Shamrocks have locked down playoff positions and get set for their round one, best-of-five semi-final matchups beginning Tuesday August 1 st. The New Westminster Salmonbellies closed their season with an 11 — 6 win in Nanaimo and finish the regular season in first place with 15 wins and three losses and will face the Victoria Shamrocks who finished in fourth place with a record of ten wins and seven losses. The winners of each best-of-five semi-final series will advance to the WLA finals starting Wednesday, August 16 th in a best-of-seven series to determine the WLA Champion. Of note, playoff overtime rules are in effect, meaning if a game is tied after regulation time, there will be a two-minute break, followed by a ten-minute overtime period. If the game is still tied, there will be a five-minute intermission, followed by a twenty-minute sudden death overtime period.

Langley vs. Between the two leagues, a total of twelve teams will compete this summer. The Mammoth, Mann, Minto and more made this past year a memorable one. This year, MSL teams will play a total of 16 games 4x against each team and WLA clubs will play an game season 3x against each team. All times ET. May 25 vs. Six Nations 8pm Thurs. After a brief return to North Shore , the Thunder have played out of Langley since Finishing with a record in the regular season, they defeated the Victoria Shamrocks in 6 games in the WLA semifinal and followed that up by eliminating the Nanaimo Timbermen in 5 games to win the WLA title, their third in team history.
