Maplestory dual blade vs shadower

Shadower is a subclass of the original Thief class that specializes in quick and powerful attacks, with a focus on survivability and evasion.

Hi, I need to choose one of the three to main once and for all. Could I have some opinions as to which one to main, knowing that I'm very funded. Things that are particularly important to me:. Phantom's ability to crash 2 Mobbing capabilities 3 Damage potential from Unlimited up to but not including RED 4 General fun - I find all three very fun , but Phantom is probably the most fun out of the three. Phantoms are great at bossing. The versatility of a Phantom is quite stunning. The ability to steal many skills is a great asset.

Which class is better? Evo lab? Funds are not much of a problem. Mobbing - Db, just because the revamped blade fury creates no lag at all vs shadowers 3rd job mobbing skill. Training - Shadower, I've never needed to use a potion in forever stealing skill does that for me. Evo lab - Db, at least for Link 3, the only link I go to, which is all mobbing, and that sweet blade fury can clear a huge area in one sweep, I don't even need to move. Tbh, my shad dies a lot easier than my db, that's something really annoying when training, shad's get hit too much, db's pretty much have way too much avoid to get hit at all and even when hit, i have drain skills to take care of the lost hp. Db's style has kinda spoiled me to the point where i dont like getting hit at all, so transitioning to another class is so uncomfy. Seeing orange numbers instead of the usual purple 'guard' i see when a monster atks or touches me is so foreign to me now. Shad has more avoid that the rest of the classes but still not enough to satisfy me. I enjoy Shadower, don't like db at all.. Think of it like this. DB's are mainly a boat load of fun for the unfunded.

For bossing, maybe it's repetitive until we get Asura, but same with Shadower.

I've also checked JoeTang's damage chart and that is incredibly helpful but I've heard that its very theoretical and does not actually represent actual damage output. Furthermore, it would be excellent if someone could post a quick tutorial on how to calculate DPM. Thanks all for the feedback!

Thief can advanced as a Shadower or Night Lord. This specific job route is determined when you reach Level Shadowers are dagger wielding, shield toting 4th job of the Thief job lineup. Possessing extremely unique skills themed around meso use, shadow abuse, and flashy dagger acrobatics, Shadowers enjoy high damage and very high defense, second to only Paladins. Shadowers are excellent mobbers come 4th job and somewhat niche but effective bossers.

MapleStory Shadower is a 4th job class of the Explorer Thief job branch. Shadower doesn't use Throwing Stars, instead they use their dagger to deal ninja-like moves from the shadows. This job branch used to be known mostly for it's chief bandit skill, Meso Explosion, which was highly useful against bosses with lots of HP. But times have changed, and now Shadower's enjoy great mobility, decent mobbing and stack up well when bossing.

And at that point wouldn't it just come down to who has faster attack? Bossing - Either depending on play style, one for face tanking the other for killing the boss quickly but with the possibility of a 1hko to a lot of bosses Training - Shadower, tanky, higher DPM can handle HoH alot easier than a DB before SH and HoH though both level equally as fast. Reason: lots of typos lol. Which class suit the most? Db's style has kinda spoiled me to the point where i dont like getting hit at all, so transitioning to another class is so uncomfy.
