It comes in at number on the Lonely Planet Ultimate Travelist. The coach picked us up from central Belfast near the bus and coach station around 9. The coach driver Patrick, also doubled up as our tour guide. Our first stop was Carrickfegus , about minutes outside Belfast. This is an anglo-saxon built castle, dating back to the 12th century. This was only a 15 minute stop, more as a bathroom break before we embarked on the 2 hour drive up the coastal causeway.

Fantastic experience: Our driver Karl was a first class driver, not only that he was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Couldn't have wished for better. Trip was good value for money. Fantastic experience: We have done many bus tours around the isle of Ireland and this company has been by far the best: our driver and guide Ryan was very kind, punctual, organised, and was tirelessly sharing facts during the entire outbound journey. On the way back he let us sleep we were all exhausted from having a wonderful day! He was also the only driver we've had so far who did not threaten to leave us behind if we were 5mins late to return to the bus at a stop. We did the Giant's Causeway tour: we had a few smaller stops before and after the main sight: min photo stops at some castles, the Caves of Cashendun very impressive and The Dark Hedges. We spent 2h at the Giant's Causeway; more than enough time to explore the area, take in the scenery, climb the rocks and take photos. Wear hiking boots and pants you don't care much about as the way towards the caves is covered in washed away seaweed and is very slippery, and the ground at the Giant's Causeway is muddy and will splash on the bottom part of your pants. I was wildly unprepared for the terrain, in Vans and bootcut jeans and regretted it.

For those of you who have been blown away by some of the stunning scenery featured as the backdrop in HBO's Game of Thrones, then this is the tour for you! By travelling with McComb's you're travelling with the same company as the cast and crew of Game of Thrones! We have worked on seasons 1 - 6 of Game of Thrones, providing transport to and from all filming locations. Choose from joining other Game of Thrones fans on one of our coach tours to Westeros, or enjoy some added luxury at a slightly slower pace on a Private Tour. The itineraries are the same, so the choice is yours! Transport yourself on-board our coach to the Kings Road and join us for a day visiting the main filming locations featured in this phenomenal series. We start the day by travelling along the Causeway Coastal Route through beautiful coastal towns, including Ballycastle, which Game of Thrones fans will know as home to the actors who play Lady Catelyn Stark and Varys! There is a lot of walking on what are sometimes uneven surfaces during this tour, and it therefore requires moderate fitness levels.

Anasuya Sengupta 9 months ago. Fantastic experience: Fantastic tour, especially since taking a guided tour is not our way of traveling. There were plenty of stops for picture taking, refreshments and all the toilets were very decent. The sea comes up right to the end of the causeway and there are no safety barriers around, so you really need to take care when taking that selfie. When I wrote about my favorite lyrics in this post Our driver and guide, Patrick, was absolutely brilliant! Out of the 8 day stay we only had 1 rainy day. Fantastic experience: Had a lovely coach trip to the Giants Causeway visiting Game of Thrones locations on the way with driver Steven. The main part of the causeway is spread over a relatively small area, but there are many path and walkways to explore. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future for other tours when visiting Belfast.

Will ideally respond to comments within few days. Fantastic experience: Wow! We recommend that you request the Travel Agency registration number of the business you are going to attend. That's where Paul, our coach driver, took over. The driver made several pit stops which allows us to stretch our legs, go to the bathroom or grab a coffee. Donegall Rd. One need not be a Game of Thrones fan to enjoy this tour. Grace Law 5 months ago. Adelle 3 months ago. I loved the drive up the coast and short stops along the way. Allie Sindel 3 months ago.
