We started Mejuri in with a simple mission — to make fine jewelry accessible. As women without a background in jewelry, we found the traditional jewelry industry surprisingly archaic and not catering to our desires for everyday luxe pieces at reasonable prices. So we set out to change that by launching an affordable fine jewelry brand online, allowing women to shop high-quality gold and gemstone jewelry from the comfort of their homes. At Mejuri, we believe that fine jewelry should be enjoyed every day. We make durable, ethically-sourced pieces that can become part of your everyday wardrobe. And we cut out the middlemen so we can offer these heirloom-quality goods at a fair price. When we started Mejuri, my co-founder and I had a simple but powerful idea: quality, ethical jewelry should be accessible to everyone. For too long, jewelers and retailers had gotten away with astronomical markups that priced most shoppers out. We envisioned beautiful, classic pieces that our customers could wear daily, without worrying about cost. We assembled a team of jewelers and designers who shared our vision for high-quality craftsmanship and ethical sourcing.
