Ask a new question. I received an email that appeared to be from the Microsoft accounts Team. The subject was Microsoft Account Security Alert. It read "we think that someone else might have accessed the Microsoft account then it showed my email. There was a link to click that said "Recover account" I did not click on the link. Instead I logged into my account and changed my password. Is there a way I can verify that the initial Security Alert email came from Microsoft and wasnt a phishing scam?
