The Ministry of Sound is more than just one of the best-known clubbing venues in the UK. The Ministry of Sound spans out over four different dance floors, and contains various bars throughout the building. The club was recently refurbished at the end of , and now boasts a VIP suite with a viewing gallery, a new courtyard and two new balconies; not to mention a massive new sound system. There are many free night tours and pub crawls in Camden, Shoreditch and other neighbourhoods that you can try for a fun night out. Once arriving at the station, turn left out of the university exit, and take the second left onto Gaunt Street. By Car: If you are travelling by car, be aware that there are no public parking spaces near the venue, and the surrounded area is a residential zone which requires parking permits , thus the use of public transportation is highly recommended.

Ministry of Sound or Ministry of Sound Group is a multimedia entertainment business based in London with a nightclub , shared workspace and private members' club , worldwide events operation, music publishing business and fitness studio. He handed over the day-to-day running of the business to Lohan Presencer in In , Presencer became chairman. Ministry of Sound began as the idea of Justin Berkmann. Inspired by New York's Paradise Garage - which he described as "an amazing club. It had lights, darkness, music, quiet — everything you wanted" [1] As opposed to striking a balance between the typical hallmarks of a live music venue, Ministry of Sound was conceived as an arena purely dedicated to sound. In addition to drawing inspiration from the Paradise Garage, the club borrowed the idea of using changing set designs from another New York City club, Area , with the first being based around Blade Runner , Berkmann's favourite film. Berkmann was introduced to James Palumbo , who was working in property finance at the time, by Humphrey Waterhouse to realise the concept.
