Inside Mirage's large, light beige toned room is an abundance of unbelievably new strength apparatus including over 20 Cybex weight-stations, a wide assortment of dumbbells, fixed weight barbells, and plenty of free weights for bench press and squat exercises. While most of the endurance units are manufactured by Cybex including the fabulous Arc Trainer elliptical , Mirage adds variety with its StarTrac spin bikes and Precor ellipticals. Spa attendants circulate to meet all your conditioning needs, so don't even think of getting off that treadmill for a towel or water, have it delivered. Fitness center is located in the spa. Outside on the far end of the main pool, swimmers will happily find 3 lanes of meter lap swimming available. The pool is well marked by bottom stripes and floating lines, so don't fret the "daytime cocktail" crowd infringing upon your underwater meditation. The pool hours vary by season, but we were assured that it is open year round. Bring your watch for any intervals, because any pace clock is a mirage. If you don't like Mirage's lap swim option, the closest and cheapest alternative will be the municipal pool.
