Located on the 39th floor of the amazing Andaz Singapore , Mr Stork rooftop bar is really something special, and atrue urban oasis high above the city bustle. The spacious, lush and circular rooftop terrace covers the complete floor, resulting in fantastic and panoramic degree views over the Singapore skyline and the ocean. Very much set up as a rooftop garden, and apart from the bronze pavilion bar and regular tables, you can walk along the cobbled paths to find private little nooks and crannies. Or find shelter in one of the ten really cool tepee huts, designed to look like stork baby carriers hence the name Mr Stork. Open nightly, the rooftop bar serves a nice set of refreshing signature cocktails, a good selection of wines and also their own Andaz Pale Ale. Bar bites like sliders, sushi and cheese selection is also available to keep the hunger at bay. With the views on display, and a great and relaxed atmosphere, Mr Stork rooftop bar is a popular venue, so reservations or arriving in good time is recommended. Both to catch the best seats, but also to catch the amazing sunset. The drink uses vodka as the base, although you will not taste the alcohol at all because the drink is mixed thoroughly with apple juice and lychee syrup! A small amount of lemongrass extract added to the drink also gives it a slightly citrus taste, although the taste is really subtle and can be easily overwhelmed by the sweetness of the lychee.

Updated: Mar 20, A great perk of living in Singapore is that there is no shortage of rooftop bars to enjoy a sunset drink with a view. One of the newest rooftop arrivals in town is Mr Stork, sitting atop the 39th floor of the Andaz Hotel. This bar visit was a midweek breather after a busy few days working. It was exactly what we need, with the real perk of the bar being its secret rooftop garden to enjoy a quiet chat with friends.
