The entirety of this chapter focused on various characters traversing through the maze whilst fending off the ferocious earth crawlers. If you've read my last review I developed a theory positing that this person might in fact be Zaratras' reincarnation. Based on the events of this chapter it seems like this man is not Zaratras' reincarnation but instead someone new. My reasoning is simple. This is key because it makes clear the distinction between their two characters. Zara was a knight and often potrayed using a sword while this mage uses a staff like weapon and various spells.
