Beth is a nanny who lives one floor underneath the apartment where her crush Jack lives. Beth instantly falls in love with Cami as she is finally able to get the fussy little baby to settle down and guys basically hire her on the spot when they see Beth bonding with their baby and her knowledge of caring for children. All of them have a past that makes things difficult. Beth was put up for adoption when she was four but was never adopted leaving her going from foster home to foster home. The guys get the opportunity of a life time to go to a gaming convention in New York to showcase their new game, but while they are away things go astray as Beth learns to shocking news and finds her birth family. And, to make matters even harder, Cami has become attached to Beth and in a way that it would be hard to cut Beth out of her life.
