The National Evaluation Series NES is a rigorous testing national evaluation series created by Pearson Education Group that entry-level teachers must undergo in order to become professionally certified educators. The tests administered by NES are designed to assess your knowledge of your subject of choice, national evaluation series, your ability to apply that knowledge to teaching a wide range of children with diverse needs, and your mastery of classroom management.

Educator preparation faculty are not eligible to participate in the pilot test. Please do NOT sign up for the pilot test if you do not intend to seek certification in this field or did not receive your certification in this field in the last 3 years. Eligible participants may receive an incentive for up to two 2 forms for one 1 field per testing period. Additional incentive requests will not be fulfilled. The second registration can only be scheduled after the first pilot test session is completed consecutive pilot test appointments are not available. Pilot test results will be analyzed as group data only and will be kept confidential. Score information will not be provided to participants or any entity.
