We are very excited to announce our collaboration with National Geographic Learning a part of Cengage Learning for We feel that NGL national geographic learning offer a number of attractions for both our students and our teachers. Of course there is the stunning imagery, national geographic learning, but more than that, familiar topics are approached from a unique perspective which are both engaging and thought — provoking. It feels like a grown up book that has been adapted for kids.

Its mission is to inspire students to learn and acquire the skills they need to be successful in their careers or educational experiences, to achieve personal success and be better citizens of the 21st century, and to become lifelong caretakers of the planet. They bring to life excitement and joy of learning that National Geographic explorers, scientists, writers and photographers experience. They illustrate these materials with stunning National Geographic photography, video, and illustrations that bring the world to the classroom and the classroom to life. In partnership with the ISS National Lab, NGL has recently expanded this curriculum with the addition of engineering design challenges and new digital content. The new ISS-related content is not limited to space science. The research in the ISS National Lab touches on all fields of science and engineering, from microbiology to materials science to medical technologies, so it has relevance throughout the STEM curriculum. The Explorer Mindset is a series of attributes, shared values, and commitments that define what it means to be a National Geographic Explorer. We developed a competency-based framework that identifies and codifies the Attitudes , Skills , and Knowledge that are indicators of the Explorer Mindset.
