This wonderful set of carved wooden creations were crafted in Italy we believe by the company Faffaello who still create these same items today - although it appears that the modern day ones are not quite to the same standard of workmanship. The collection was the prize possession of the late Mother of a French friend of ours, who had this set for herself and a similar one that she had purchased for her daughter while on her many trips to Italy - and in particular Rome, on pilgrimages.
