This setting allows you to choose what information is displayed, and how it is displayed. For example, you can choose to have the shutter speed and aperture displayed in the viewfinder, or you can choose to have them displayed on the LCD screen. You can also choose to have the information displayed in both the viewfinder and the LCD screen. When you change settings such as ISO, image quality, or white balance, the information display on the back LCD will now illuminate.
