So, I have read the rules and have noticed that there are no rules stating that you can kill on sight and you instead have to initiate with the person in order to kill them. The question I have is: does this rule apply to military locations and areas of high people concentration? If it does not I feel like it very much should. All my time I have spent in DayZ has taught me to be hostile with people holding guns in their hands at military locations and not to be friendly with them. With this system of having to initiate with people, someone could just run through the middle of the airfield or in the middle of a field and not have to worry about being shot because you have to go and talk to them in order to kill them.

It's easy! Giving gamers a choice is not a bad thing, no kos dayz, leaving out features that players want and telling them to buy another game instead is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. I hope i can gain skills to enter a PvP server with more strength.

I'm newbie and was playing in a PvP server, and could not learn, always someone invaded my base to steal and destroy. I not mad that the character died, I'm just a little annoyed at the way he died because it was for no reason. Maybe you should allow KOS in certain areas so people won't become so kill happy on regular encounters? I did not see any guns being aimed and I thought that it was normal for people to have their guns out because they were most likely protecting their base and plus there are most likely a lot of people running through there. If they don't comply with your demands within a reasonable amount of time you can shoot, if they do comply you can have some fun hostage RP. I realize that "first impressions" can be "lasting impressions" and that a rocky start might be a negative thing on your mind.
