On Saturday evening November 10th, october 7 2018, we met in a broad group of Polish and Polish-American people to celebrate the th Anniversary of Independence of Poland. We sang Mazurek Dąbrowskiego, listened to Prof. Wit Busza from MIT who shared with us how his life was entangled with some important events of Polish history and shared a wonderful time together!

Wydarzenie odbywa się co roku, w pierwszą niedzielę… pic. Główna aleja centrum nowojorskiego Manhattanu. Trwa ParadaPułaskiego. Uczestniczą w niej Polacy i Amerykanie polskiego pochodzenia z Nowego Jorku, New Jersey, Connecticut i okolic, którzy z dumą eksponują przywiązanie do ojczystych tradycji, reprezentując… pic. Thousands of Polish-Americans will be marching in the streets of New York representing schools, youth and sports organizations, folk dance groups, businesses, and parishes of the Tri-State area. Representatives of the Polish government and distinguished members of the community will also pay tribute to our heritage. Please show your Polish-American pride by supporting this great event. The Parade is held annually on the first Sunday of October and closely coincides with the October 11th General Pulaski Memorial Day, a national observance of his death at the Siege of Savannah. I remember going to the Pulaski Day parade in the late s with my parents and grandfather who came to the USA from Warsaw in We would have tea in this tea room on north east corner of W.
