Fans are embracing Little Mix and Cheat Codes' latest collaboration.

It was written by member Vince Clarke , while he was still with Depeche Mode , but recorded in after he formed Yazoo with Alison Moyet. It was released as Yazoo's first single on 15 March in the United Kingdom, taken from their first album, Upstairs at Eric's , and became an instant success on the UK Singles Chart , peaking at number two on 16 May It also made the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart number The music video for the new version was created using the Houdini 3D animation software package. The performance was later released on the Live for Burberry EP. The performance featured a live orchestra as accompaniment.

It was released on June 22, , as a single through Syco Music and Entertainment. The song appears on the Ministry of Sound compilation album The Pool Party , as the eighteenth track on the deluxe edition of their fifth studio album LM5 and the acoustic version appears on the Japanese edition of the album. Musically "Only You" is an edm track with elements of dance-pop. The song peaked at number fifteen on the UK Singles Chart , and reached the charts in thirteen other territories including France, Ireland and Australia. It has since received two platinum and gold music certifications. The song was revealed in June with its inclusion on The Pool Party album, which accompanied the television series Love Island. All the lyrics are structured in verse—pre-chorus—chorus which contain no vocals but instead an instrumental. The music video for the song was released on July 12, , on Little Mix's official YouTube channel. The video was directed by Frank Borin. The plot shows a girl played by Lisa , picking clothes for a party and it later shows her arriving and has trouble interacting with the others and she decides to sit on the couch. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl played by Peyton is seen hiding in the bushes and runs and takes a nearby yellow jacket and runs off and enters the party and Lisa and Peyton lock eyes and decide to dance and seen having fun together at the party, such as conversations, games and dancing. Then a group of other girls show up interrupting the two. One specific girl notices Peyton has her jacket.

Not only does 'Only You' feature stunning vocal performances by Jesy, Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne but it also has a rousing chorus and club ready drop that is making it a strong contender for song of the summer We are not joking. The record-breaking girl group took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a link via which fans could unlock a snippet of the visual. They then released it today at midnight and it is queer af. The video starts with a teenage girl getting ready for a house party and then struggling to socialise when she arrives.
