Runescape 3 is frowned upon by the majority of the RS community as it has strayed away from the core roots of the game which originally made it unique and enjoyable. The vast majority of the Runescape player base are from Old school Runescape. This controversy and dispute whether which game is the best is also seen in the RSPS world. These private servers aren't as tedious and slow paced as the original game. Old school private servers are a way for users to enjoy the Runescape experience without having to sacrifice too much time of their personal lives.
