The motel is situated on the outskirts of Otorohanga but is still convenient for the town centre. The units are situated off the main road, behind the reception building and so are very quiet. Our room was below the owners accommodation and contrary to a previous review we were not disturbed by any noise from above whatsoever. This is a lovely place, really clean and comfortable, in a rural setting but very near the facilities of Otorohanga and convenient for the Waitomo Caves. Great breakfast menu. Small town, places close early except for the local bar, supermarket, and small takeaway joints including McDonald's. Not very touristy, but a good place to relax in or to stay at while visiting the Waitomo Caves. A quiet but friendly town. A place to explore for food if you decide to stay a night ot more to visit the Waitomo Caves and see the Glowworms.
